We were out at the Long Beach Swap meet yesterday selling posters/w free tickets and it was a beautiful day everyone was happy and it showed.We want to thank all of you who stopped by and purchased.It was amazing how many new people that had not heard of the show ,talked with us and got their chance to win.100 % percent of the proceeds build the Knuckle,pay for all the show costs and keep it free.We will be selling at upcoming swap meets and shows and you can also purchase online ( w/ Utility),at the Garage Company (w/ Yoshi) and in a week or so w/us @the Cycle Lodge.

Our friends at the Garage Company in LA now have Born-Free 3 Knucklehead posters w/free tickets available at the shop. They are $25 each and you are entered to win the 1946 Knucklehead they are finishing up for us. Don't forget March 12, 2011 we are having a debut party for the bike at the Garage Co so please make plans to attend! Brooklyn is Coming

Decide to doing something and do it.That is what is happening in the real motorcycle scene today.Guys are willing to ride,fly or drive across the country or the world for that matter in be involved with something they are passionate about....and that's what we have here....John Copeland is a very talented guy and he is now a part of our builder invite for Born Free 3. John is a creative person well known for his craft ( check his Blog. ).He is also doing very special things with choppers too.Last fall we went out to the Brooklyn Invitational and met up with the White Knights and got a good taste of NY.They are definitely locked in on what's cool in the east and now they are coming west! Welcome John... see you in June.

Jon Rispante

Jon is part of our builder invite this year.His Assassin & Grasshopper Triumphs killed the BornFree'ers last year and he is working a BSA...yes a BSA for this year's event. Here is a spy photo of the build.

Baron Speedshop / Factory Metal Works

Dick & Lucas are teamed up for the Born Free Builder Invite.The Baron has built some of the nicest Triumphs in the UK and Lucas is making the coolest frames,pipes and now seats in the US. They are doing a Pre Unit Triumph full show ..Baron's style. Here are a few details :: Mike ,
I thought I'd better drop you a line,we started work on the Barons Speed Shop -Factory Metal Works bike,
Frame is a factory Metal works Repop 50's style triumph rigid ,
The Bike is a typical Period looking Barons Build ,this Time though A Late 50's Early 60's Show & Go Pre Unit Triumph Dragster,
The Bike is using A Hopped up Dual Carb Iron motor, with period Barons & The Factory Metal Works "Kustom Goodies",along with Light weight Alloy Rims .
The Machine will not be seen until unveiled at the Show.

Garage Company Party

SCC Builder Spot

Todd from Small City Cycles in Idaho is onboard for the Builder Invite in this years show.Todd took home top honors last year in the Unit Chopper class and this years build stands to be even better.Last years bike featured a single down tube custom frame and now it looks like a skinny double down tube frame has been crafted.Lucas @ Factory Metal Works is the guy behind the frames..more on him and the show in a later post.The Born Free builders are as good as they come.

A Do it All..

Painter ,builder,hair model... whatever....when it comes to motorcycles or cars John Edwards definitely has an eye....maybe a crazy eye but a special eye for sure.His 52 Space Kat in my opinion is one of the best ever built and now he is working on a new build and it will be at Born Free 3.John is part of our builder invite and his new Pan Head and according to him will be all show....If his 52 was not a show bike and this one is...be prepared to have your mind blown.He has done some outstanding paint jobs for a long list of characters myself included but takes his time on his sweet time on his builds and this one is guaranteed to not disappoint.John was the winner of our top award @ BF 1 and also passed it along to last years winner.We want the best for and at Born Free and having John part of the show will help achieve that.
