Want to sponsor Born-Free 5?

Do you or your company want to be involved in Born-Free 5? If you do, now is the time to let us know. We have always worked with people and companies that really want to be involved and it makes a difference! We are trying to finalize much of our poster and ticket artwork which includes top sponsor logos, so time is running short. We need commitments by the end of December. Please email us to find out more. Grant@bornfreeshow.com or mike@bornfreeshow.com
Thanks!

T-Shirt contest winner!

We had so much great stuff to choose from this go around for the art contest it made it pretty tough to choose a winner, but Richard Minino from Orlando, Florida got the nod. His design was so spot on and made for an awesome Born-Free t-shirt you'll never want to take it off! CLICK HERE to buy one in our Born-Free online store. These are limited edition, we only printed 100 so don't wait! These were printed by Icon Screening printed on 100% cotton tees that fit like a regular shirt and wash and wear well for years.

Richard comes from a design background (if you couldn't tell) and has a company with a few friends back in Florida called VNM. He says this about it: VNM is an apparel range by a group ofindividuals spread out across the eastern United States. What does VNM mean? That is not important. It means what you want it to mean so get out thereand break some shit.

Born-free 69 shovel update

We pulled off the heads on the stocker 1969 shovel we are giving away. These babies got a nice coat of black paint when the previous owner had the motor done but we decided they would be better au natural. So I spent many an hour at the blasting cabinet with them, my UL cylinders and jeff Leighton's dual carb panheads...getting there!

Premonition 13

At Born-Free 3 we had some special guests play some of their new tunes after we gave the knucklehead away. Wino's new band Premonition 13 played a late afternoon set for those that stuck around as the sun was getting low after an amazing day at Oak Canyon Ranch. Thanks again guys!
Here's a video I found on You Tube from their set at the show:

Born-Free 4...

We know that everyone out there has been wondering if we were going to do Born-Free again in 2012...even though Mike and I have been trying not to think about it for a while, we kinda had to due to some time sensitive decisions that needed to be made if the answer was yes...

So even though it was a little rushed (we don't have art, etc) we are formally announcing BORN-FREE 4 on June 30th, 2012! It'll be at Oak Canyon Ranch again where we held BF3. More to come soon.

Our big dilemma is that we bought a 1969 FLH Shovelhead CREAM-PUFF to use as the base of the BF4 bike...we were gonna yank the motor and trans and sell off the carcas...but after we got it off the transporter i got it running and we have just been dialing in a few things on it, all the while falling in love with the beast. This sucker is pretty all original with lots of accessories and what seems to be a motor rebuild, it just needs some regular use after sitting for quite a while in a heated garage in the Motor City...

Our QUESTION to you is would you spend money on posters/tickets for this bike like it is or would you rather have a '69 Shovel chopper? Please leave your comments!
(even though we pretty much know what we have to do...)

Also, if you would be interested in buying the bike minus the motor and trans let us you. You could drop in just about anything and be on the road in Electraglide in Blue style! email grant@bornfreeshow.com if you are serious. We are in Socal and can ship anywhere.

Born-Free Tour

Many of you are going to embark on your first, second, or third personal Born-Free tour this June as you ride, drive, or fly to Southern California to share one day of old motorcycles with many friends and not so strange strangers...
I was driving up the 405 this morning on the way to work and i was thinking about all the stuff i have to do today during the radio comercial break and my brain was blindsided by my truck's speakers which just blasted out in booming radio announcer voice "...Is starting on his Born Free Tour this summer!" i quickly tried to pay attention to who they were talking about. iot turns out that Kid Rock has an album out called Born Free! Looks like he'll be doing some promotion for us...thanks Kid!
So i pull up the video once i got to work and he's even riding a Harley in it...maybe he'll stop by!
