Invited Builder Video Series : Jason Sheets

Last year we invited a guy not many knew out west... including myself. Quiet , friendly and super talented. He built a beautiful VL and it was selected by the lucky winner of the bike giveaway promo. Builder Update-Jason Sheets

Jason Sheets sent in a few pics of his Invited Builder bike before it got torn down for paint by Tuki. Jason's full show Panhead is in a modified VL frame and features tons of subtle tricks that Jason is known for being a skilled machinist. And remember! Jason Sheets-Invited Builder Update

Jason Sheets has been working hard back at his shop in Maryland on his Born-Free 6 bike. You probably remember his clean Harley VL he built for Born-Free 5 that was also the bike that got picked by the lucky ticket holder!

Well, the panhead that Jason is building now is shaping up nicely. He's heavily modified another VL frame to fit the OHV motor and four speed trans. As a machinist and fabricator, he's naturally making a lot of parts to suit this one-off build like the oil and gas tanks. The cases are fully polished and there's a clean, extended K-model frontend giving this bike a great look.

Born-Free Invited Builder Series-Jason Sheets

Jason Sheets is one of our invited builders for Born-Free 5. HE's a soft spoken, talented guy from Hagerstown, Maryland. I started taking note of Jason's work on Instagram and it seemed like he encompassed all the things we look for in our new builders. We finally met when I went to York, PA to the No Dice show last year and I quizzed him on a few things and then popped the question!
We are happy to have Jason and can't wait to see his '31 Harley VL at the show. Enjoy this video by Magic Ken.
